A taxi operator was shot dead in Toll Gate, Clarendon, on Sunday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Miguel Thomas of McGilchrist Palm in the parish.
According to reports, at about 10:50 a.m., Thomas had just finished washing his car when he was ambushed by a lone gunman, who opened fire opened fire hitting him in the head and upper body, killing him instantly.
Investigations are ongoing.
