Taxi Operator Murdered in Linstead, St. Catherine

Taxi Operator Murdered: A popular taxi operator was shot and killed by unknown assailants in Linstead, St. Catherine, on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as 37-year-old Kion Bartley, otherwise called ‘Rim Head’, a taxi operator of Bongo Town in Victoria District, Linstead, St. Catherine.

Reports are that around 11:50 p.m. on Saturday, residents living on the outskirts of Linstead alerted the police after hearing a barrage of gunshots in the area.

Upon the arrival of the lawmen, Bartley was discovered lying in a pool of blood along the roadway, with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.

The scene was processed, and the body was removed to the morgue for a post-mortem examination.
