Kingston, Jamaica – The Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ) has announced that all tax offices islandwide will close at noon on election day to ensure all eligible citizens, including public sector workers, have the opportunity to vote.
TAJ is urging taxpayers to use its online services for transactions such as property tax payments, motor vehicle certificate of fitness fees, driver’s licence renewals, traffic ticket fines, and business-related taxes and fees. Additional services available online include querying property tax liability, applying for Tax Compliance Certificates (TCC), and renewing Motor Vehicle Registration Certificates (MVRC).

- Scotia OnLine and Mobile App
- Direct Funds Transfer
Normal office operations will resume on September 4. Taxpayers are encouraged to plan ahead and take advantage of digital services
