ST THOMAS, Jamaica — Sleuths assigned to the St Thomas Police Division seized five hundred and ten (510) sticks of dynamite during an operation in Yallahs on Monday, July 7.
Reports from the Morant Bay Police indicate that around 1:00 p.m., lawmen were conducting an operation in the area when a premises was searched. During the search, the explosives were discovered hidden inside a bag.
Three men were taken into custody in connection with the seizure; however, their identities are being withheld pending further investigations.
The police continue to urge anyone with information that can assist with their probe to contact the nearest police station.
