A 25-year-old St James resident has been formally charged in relation to the fatal stabbing of her partner at a house in St Andrew last year.
The accused has been identified as Brittney Hall, also known as “Shadona,” of the Hurlock district in Montego Bay. The deceased is 27-year-old Wayne Robinson, a security officer from Trench Town, Kingston.
According to the Hunts Bay Police, the incident occurred shortly after midnight on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at a residence in the Cooreville Gardens community. Investigators reported that Hall raised an alarm while inside the house with Robinson.
A relative reportedly responded and discovered Robinson suffering from a wound to his chest. He was rushed to hospital for medical attention but later succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment.
Following the incident, Hall reportedly left the area and was subsequently declared wanted by the police. She was apprehended in St James on Monday, January 12.
Police said a warrant was later executed, and Hall was charged with murder four days after her arrest. Arrangements are now being made for her court appearance.
