St. James, Jamaica — The St James police are actively searching for a well-known taxi operator, known only as ‘Vetta’, who is accused of firing multiple gunshots at a colleague during a confrontation at Bamboo Lawn in Lilliput on Thursday.

Reports indicate that on Thursday afternoon, ‘Vetta’ approached the home of another taxi operator, known as ‘Kino’, who was seated in his white Toyota Noah bus, which he uses for his taxi operations. The two men, who drive for the same employer, have been involved in an ongoing dispute.
During the confrontation, ‘Vetta’ allegedly drew a handgun and opened fire at Kino. Fortunately, Kino managed to drive away, though his vehicle sustained bullet damage.
A report was promptly made to the police, and a manhunt has been launched to apprehend ‘Vetta’.
