The St. James police report that two brothers who turned themselves in after appearing on their Wanted Wednesday Campaign list have now been officially charged.
The brothers, both from Burnt Ground in Spring Mount, St. James, have been identified as Derron Reid, also known as ‘Man A 40,’ and Austin Reid, also known as ‘Akeem.’
The siblings have both been officially charged with Shooting With Intent.
Reports indicate that around 9:30 PM on Monday, July 3, 2023, the brothers, one armed with a handgun and the other with a machete, went to a shop in the community and accused a man of stealing money from their grandmother.
