The police have arrested a 29-year-old St. Elizabeth man who was found in possession of an illegal firearm and several rounds of ammunition at a wake yard in Manchester on Sunday morning.
Reports indicate that shortly after 2:00 AM, the police went to a wake yard in Comfort Hall, Manchester, where they saw the accused, a construction worker from Castleton district in Balaclava, St. Elizabeth, among other patrons.
Upon seeing the lawmen approaching, he started to act suspiciously and was detained. A search of his person revealed a Glock pistol fitted with a magazine containing nine live 9mm rounds.
