Authorities in St Ann are investigating the fatal shooting of a 23-year-old street vendor in Ocho Rios on Tuesday night.
The victim has been identified as Barrington Watson, also known by the nickname ‘Baffu’, who resided in the Buckfield community.
According to initial reports, Watson was at his residence around 10:30 p.m. when an unidentified gunman approached and opened fire, leaving him with serious injuries.
He was transported to St Ann’s Bay Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
As of now, investigators have yet to determine a motive for the deadly attack.
