St Ann Man Murdered in Manchester, Two Others Shot and Injured

Latest Jamaica News, Manchester: A man who hailed from the parish of St Ann, was shot and killed, and two others shot and injured, after they reportedly went to the parish of Manchester to purchase a motor vehicle, on Monday afternoon, July 8.

The dead man has been identified as 33-year-old Kevoy Lawrence, who hailed from Discovery Bay, in St Ann. The identities of the other two men, who are still at hospital in serious conditions, are being withheld.

Reports are that all three men were lured to a section of Devon District in Manchester, where they were told that they could get a motor car to purchase.

On reaching the community, they were ambushed by a group of armed men, who opened fire hitting all three men, before robbing them of an undetermined sum of money.

The police were summoned and upon arrival, Lawrence and the other wounded men were rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The other victims were admitted in serious condition.
