St Ann, Jamaica – A heated fight in Lime Hall, St Ann, has ended in tragedy, leaving one man dead and another behind bars.
Charged with murder is 37-year-old Junior Campbell, otherwise called “Alka” or “Blacka”, a higgler from Clampstead, Lime Hall. He is accused of killing 38-year-old Roy Annikie, a caretaker of Tracey Ville.
Reports reaching Mckoy’s News are that around 7:30 p.m., residents of Tracey Ville heard a loud commotion coming from a house where the two men were arguing. Moments later, cries for help were heard coming from inside.
Police were quickly summoned, and upon arrival, they discovered Annikie’s lifeless body lying face down in a pool of blood, suffering from multiple stab wounds.
The scene was processed, and the body was later transported to the morgue, pending a post-mortem examination.
Following swift investigation, lawmen apprehended Campbell on Thursday, October 9, and he was formally charged on Friday, October 17.
A court date is now being finalised.
