14-Year-Old St. Elizabeth Boy Charged in Brother’s Stabbing Death

St. Elizabeth, Jamaica — A 14-year-old boy has been charged with the stabbing death of his brother, Raheem Thompson, following an altercation at their home in St. Elizabeth.

Police reports indicate that around 9:50 p.m. on Friday, October 10, the accused and two other relatives were at home when an argument escalated into a fight between him and Raheem.

During the confrontation, the boy reportedly brandished a knife and inflicted a wound to Raheem’s chest. Another family member intervened to separate them, but Raheem went outside shortly after, collapsed, and was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
