St Andrew Police Seeking Public Assistance to Identify Man Found Dead in Half Way Tree

Jamaica Crime News, Kingston: The Half Way Tree Police are now asking members of the public for their assistance, to identify a man who was discovered dead along a section of Half Way Tree on Saturday morning, May 12, 2018.

The deceased has been identified to be in his mid-forties, dark complexion, medium built and about 5ft 6ins tall.

He was clad in blue shorts, brown T-Shirt, and blue and white slippers.

Reports are that shortly after 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, commuters stumbled upon the victim who was in a seated position and motionless.

The police were summoned and upon arrival, the scene was processed and the victim transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The investigators say they have now ruled out foul play and they are now awaiting the post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death.
