Detectives from the St. Ann Police Division arrested and charged Daniel Campbell, 25, of Benin District, St. Ann, with Murder, following an incident that occurred at his home on Wednesday, July 28.
The deceased has been identified as 60-year-old Glascora Campbell.
According to the St. Ann’s Bay Police, Campbell and her son had an argument at 9:00 p.m. when he hit her on the head with a stone. The cops were alerted, and she was taken to the hospital, where she died on August 2nd.
A post mortem was performed on the body of the deceased on Friday, September 10, and the cause of death was established. Daniel Campbell was formally charged.
