Waterbury, Connecticut (McKoy’s News) – A 25-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the murder of his parents at a home on Beverly Avenue on Monday night.
The victims have been identified as 51-year-old Carlene Williams and 55-year-old Marc Adams, who were found with gunshot wounds and pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities say the incident may be linked to domestic violence.
Charged in the case is Javan Adams, facing multiple counts including murder with special circumstances, murder during commission of a felony, larceny of a vehicle, and criminal use of a weapon.
Police reports indicate that Adams has a long criminal history involving domestic violence, with more than seven prior offences. He is being held on a US$5 million bond and is expected to appear in court on Wednesday.
