Skeletal remains, suspected to be those of missing St. Catherine teacher Danielle Anglin, have been discovered in Salt River, Clarendon. The remains were found during a coordinated operation by Clarendon police and investigators from the St. Catherine South division.
Deputy Superintendent in charge of Crime in Clarendon, Clifton Green, confirmed the discovery, stating, “The investigations carried out were relative to a missing person, and so far we have found skeletal remains. Those remains have been processed and collected for further evidentiary processing. We wouldn’t want to disclose the intricacies of this investigation at this time, but these skeletal remains have significantly improved the information we seek in these investigations.”
Danielle Anglin, 29, a teacher at St. Peter Claver Primary and Infant School in St. Andrew, was last seen around 5:50 am on Monday, May 13, while on her way to work from her home in the Hellshire area of Portmore, St. Catherine.
The discovery of the remains marks a significant development in the ongoing investigation into her disappearance, providing new leads for the authorities to follow. Further forensic analysis will be conducted to confirm the identity of the remains and gather more information related to the case.
