Scary Spice Divorces Husband after 10 years!

United States, ( McN) – Scary Spice splits from her hubby of 10 years citing irreconcilable differences.

Melanie Brown, then known as Scary Spice of the world-famous and fun-filled 90’s girl group, Spice Girl split from her husband Stephen Belafonte after being legally separated from December of last year. The couple got married in June, 2007 in Las Vegas, after a 5 month romance and have a beautiful five-year-old daughter, Madison.

Scary Spice father recently passed away at the age of 63, after losing his battle with cancer. She posted a picture online of her and, her sisters and her father together while he slept away peacefully. Sources say his death may have contributed to the ending of her marriage; as she was devastated by the loss of her beloved father. Other sources have stated the Browns split from Belafonte could be a result of infidelity in their marriage.

According to her divorce papers, the 41-year-old, who is affectionately known as MelB and the host of America’s Got Talent has requested joint and physical custody of their 5-year-old daughter. She reportedly requested that no alimony be paid to her estranged husband.
