Among the popular tracks on the disc are ‘Paradise‘ by Safaree (featuring Sean Kingston); ‘Chances‘ by Sean Kingston & Vybz Kartel; ‘Regular Thing‘ by Sean Paul and ‘Real Life‘ by Ed Sheeran.
To celebrate the success of the song, Safaree posted the video for Paradise (which was shot in Jamaica) on his Instagram page saying “#Paradise..1.5 million and counting with another smash on the way.”
Safaree, the one time “Ex” of hip-hop superstar Nicki Minaj had a break out year in 2017, landing starring roles on both of VH1s New York & Hollywood franchises of ‘Love & Hip Hop.’ The New York premiere earned the second-highest spot of the night’s cable ratings among adults 18-49.
During a recent radio interview on WVIP, 93.5FM in New York, the rapper and VH1 TV star spoke candidly about representing Jamaica on the cable platform.
“When I first signed up to do the show, one of the things I said, I don’t feel like there is anyone out there who brings any of the Jamaican culture to TV…It is good to look at VH1 (now) and see the Jamaican flag up there. I am glad I am the one to do it,“ he shared.
MINGLES CAFE

“We are extremely proud of the positive exposure and visibility that Safaree is giving Jamaica on a national platform like VH1. You can’t pay for brand exposure like that!” Jerry McDonald an executive from Blue & Bougie NY noted.

“The other day someone came up to me and said I’m a national treasure for the Jamaican community because I rep the flag so hard in everything I do on a national platform” Safaree posted on his Instagram page.
