Illegal Firearms and Lotto Scam Info Found – Cherry Gardens, St James

St James, Jamaica (Mckoy’s News) – Cherry Gardens: the St James police have reported that since the start of the State of Emergency, a totally 15 illegal firearms have been seized throughout the parish of St James.
The latest firearm seizure took place on Tuesday, February 13th at Cherry Gardens in Norwood, St James.
Reports are that shortly after 3:00 pm; on Tuesday, a joint military team carried out an operation at Cherry Gardens where they searched several premises.
During the search of a compound, a Glock 21 pistol along with two magazines and over 150 Lottery Leads sheets with numbers and personal information of overseas residents was discovered.
The investigators say they believed that these items and the firearm have been part of the Lottery Scamming gains.
Mckoy’ News also learnt that three men have been taken into custody for questioning in connection with the seizure.
