A St Catherine resident is to face the courts after police reportedly uncovered cocaine during an operation at his Portmore home on Wednesday.
The accused has been identified as 49-year-old Garth Forbes of Passage Fort, Portmore. According to the Greater Portmore police, a team of officers conducted an early-morning search at his residence at about 4:15 a.m.
During the operation, law enforcement personnel allegedly found cocaine hidden beneath a bed inside the house. Forbes was taken into custody at the scene and later charged with possession of cocaine and dealing in cocaine.
He is scheduled to appear before the St Catherine Parish Court on Friday, January 23.
