Portland, Jamaica – A 27-year-old man died from injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash on the Clear Spring main road in Portland on Saturday night.
The deceased has been identified as Brian Cunningham, a marine tour guide from Drapers in the parish.
According to police reports, around 10:00 p.m., Cunningham was riding his motorcycle along the main road when he lost control after encountering loose gravel, causing him to plunge into a nearby river.
He was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
Authorities are reminding motorists to exercise caution, particularly on challenging road surfaces.
