Portland, Jamaica— A man lost his life on, after the car he was travelling in overturned along the Long Bay main road in Portland on Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as 20-year-old Knoxroy Hewitt, a resident of Rural Hill district.
According to reports, around 5:00 pm, Hewitt was a passenger in a Nissan AD wagon travelling east when the vehicle lost control and overturned on the right side of the road at Ross Craig.
Hewitt, along with the other occupants of the vehicle, sustained injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The condition of the other passengers has not been confirmed.
Investigations into the cause of the accident are ongoing.
