Portland, Jamaica (McN) — MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT: Driver of a Toyota Corolla lost control of the car while driving towards Port Antonio – hitting an embankment and plunging into the Caribbean sea.
The driver of a Toyota Carolla, identified as Everald Monelal of Norwich Heights, Portlans died this morning, while his passenger was hospitalized after their motor car lost control along Norwich main road in Port Antonio, Portland and plunged into the sea.
Reports are that about 12: am on Wednesday January 25, Monelal and a male passenger were headed towards Port Antonio in a Toyota Corolla motorcar. Allegedly, he lost control of the vehicle, hit the embankment and plunged into the sea.
The men were removed out of the sea and taken to hospital where Monelal died at 5:45 am.
The male passenger is admitted in stable condition.
