Police Seize Firearm and Ammunition in Maxfield Avenue Raid

KINGSTON, JAMAICA – A Taurus 9mm pistol, along with a magazine containing eight 9mm rounds and an additional Smith & Wesson magazine, was seized by police during an operation on Maxfield Avenue, Kingston 12, on Friday, February 21.

According to reports from the Hunts Bay Police, officers were conducting a targeted operation at approximately 9:03 a.m. when they searched a premises in the area. The firearm and ammunition were discovered, and the occupant of the premises was taken into custody.

Authorities have not yet released the identity of the individual, and investigations into the matter are ongoing.
