Jamaica News, February 26, 2018 – Female Found Dead under Bridge
Montego Bay, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – The Freeport police in Montego Bay, St James are now asking members of the public for their assistance to identify the body of a female who was discovered under a bridge in Montego Bay on Saturday afternoon, February 24.
The police further stated that they have not ruled out foul play but they are now awaiting a post-mortem examination to determine the true cause of death.
Reports from the police are that shortly after 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 24, fishermen at a section of the Howard Cook Highway where the Barnett River flows into the sea, saw the body floating in the water under the bridge.
The police were summoned and upon arrival, they discovered that the body was that of the female. She was barefooted, clad in a white Merino, blue and white shorts, and her hair was very unkept.
The victim is also of dark complexion, medium built and about 5ft 6ins tall.
