Police Arrest Trio in Bold Warehouse Heist, Recover Dozens of Stolen Items

St. Andrew, Jamaica – The St Andrew South police have apprehended three men following a daring warehouse heist that saw over 80 high-value items allegedly stolen from a St. Andrew business last month.

The suspects, identified as Jordan Salmon, 21, Richard Grant, 24, and Jordan Jarrett, 18—all residents of Waltham Park Road—are now facing multiple charges, including warehouse break-in, larceny, and receiving stolen property.

According to law enforcement, the break-in occurred overnight between October 29 and 30 at a warehouse on Gretna Green Avenue. The business owner reported securely locking up the premises around 4:30 p.m. on October 29, only to find the locks compromised and dozens of items missing when he returned the next morning.

Among the haul were 50 “El Air” condenser units and 30 “El Air” 18-inch fans, which police believe were specifically targeted in the heist. But the suspects didn’t evade capture for long: on October 31, just one day after the theft was reported, police apprehended the trio during a high-stakes operation on Waltham Park Road. Authorities say the men were allegedly caught in the act, transporting the stolen goods.

After an in-depth question-and-answer session conducted in the presence of their attorney, police moved quickly to lay formal charges.
