St. James, Jamaica – Tragedy struck the quiet neighborhood of Bogue Village in Montego Bay on Sunday morning when a 52-year-old businesswoman was shot and killed outside her home.
The victim, Althea Graham-Dolley, a former personal banker, was reportedly ambushed by unidentified assailants around 7:30 a.m. as she was leaving her residence to attend church.
According to police reports, Graham-Dolley was shot multiple times by her attackers, who then fled the scene. Neighbors, hearing the gunfire, rushed to her aid and transported her to Cornwall Regional Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
The killing has sent shockwaves through the Montego Bay community, where Graham-Dolley was known for her business acumen and community involvement.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and have yet to determine a motive or identify any suspects.
