The Green Island police in Hanover are investigating a shooting incident that left a motorcyclist, known as ‘Pelle,’ and his pillion passenger injured along a section of Logwood main road on Monday night.
Reports indicate that around 10:50 p.m., ‘Pelle’ and another man were riding a motorcycle when they were ambushed by armed men who opened fire, injuring both of them.
‘Pelle’ attempted to flee but lost control of the motorcycle, crashing into a utility pole. Both men were thrown from the motorcycle.
They were rushed to the hospital, where they received treatment and were admitted.
The police have been notified, and an investigation is underway.
