Kingston, Jamaica – Olympic sprint queen Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce is once again proving she’s a champion off the track, after over 650 children received school supplies through her Pocket Rocket Foundation’s 5th annual Back-to-School Treat.
The two-day outreach, held on July 25 and 26, 2025, touched down in Waterhouse, Kingston and Ewarton, St Catherine, providing Nike backpacks loaded with school essentials, along with snacks and lunch kits.
Fraser-Pryce, founder and chair of the Foundation, personally greeted students, encouraging them to pursue both education and sports as keys to success.
“This is more than just handing out bags — it’s about showing up for the youth and letting them know we care,” said Fraser-Pryce.
Grateful parents called the initiative a blessing, especially amid rising back-to-school costs.
The Pocket Rocket Foundation, known for supporting student-athletes and vulnerable communities, continues to make a major impact across Jamaica — and this latest initiative shows that Shelly-Ann’s race to uplift others is far from over.
