St James, Jamaica: A 26-year-old taxi operator from Red Ground in Mount Carey, St. James, who the police say is affiliated with the One Don Gang operating out of Mt. Carey, was arrested and charged with illegal possession of a firearm and assault at common law following an incident last Wednesday, April 24.
Reports indicate that around 9:35 am, the accused, whose identity is withheld pending further investigations, had an argument with another 25-year-old male community member, during which he allegedly threatened him with an illegal firearm.
The argument reportedly arose from an incident where he allegedly used his car to kick up dust on the other man, which was reported to the police.
After an investigation, the accused was taken into custody and subsequently charged.
