Jamaica News, April 4, 2018 – Old Juice Charged

Kingston, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – One man of a Kingston 12 address was charged with breaches of the Dangerous Firearm Act by the Kingston Western Police on Tuesday April 3.

He has been identified as Kashane Matthews, otherwise called “Dale” or “Old Juice” 22-year-old unemployed of Chad Street in Kingston 12.

Reports by the Denham Town Police are that, shortly after 9:00 p.m. on Monday, April 2, a team of officers attached to the Kingston Western Police Division were carrying out patrol duties at a section of 2nd Street in Trench Town.

During the operation, Matthews was observed acting in a suspicious manner, he was accosted and searched.

During the search of his person, the firearm, a 9 mm semi-automatic pistol loaded with nine live 9 mm rounds was removed from his waistband.

Matthews was taken into custody and subsequently charged with Illegal Possession of Firearm and Ammunition. He is booked to appear in Court at a later date.
