Nurse Charged after Fatal Accident in Mobay Claimed Two lives

Montego Bay , Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Nurse Charged: Dana Minto, 50-year-old nurse of a St James address was charged today by the St James police with two counts of causing death by dangerous driving as a result of a fatal accident where 52-year-old Franklin Hylton and 15-year-old student Shantae Rose were killed on Monday.

Reports are that sometime after 7:00 a.m. on Monday, Rose, her 8-yr-old sister and their mother were walking along the Felicity main road in Montego Bay. All three persons were struck down by a car, driven by Minto. The vehicle continued to also hit down Hylton.

Hylton and the 15-yr-old student died as a result of injuries they sustained.

The Montego Bay police are currently investigating and Minto is scheduled to appear in the St James Parish Court tomorrow.
