Music Producer Murdered in St Ann

Westmoreland, Jamaica: Music Producer Murdered –  Investigators in the parish of St. Ann are probing the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a popular music producer at his home in Ocho Rios on Friday.

The deceased has been identified as 19-year-old Malaki James, of the Great Pond district in Ocho Rios, St. Ann.

Reports indicate that around 12:00 midday, James and a female were at his home when armed men forced their way inside the house and opened fire, hitting him multiple times.

The gunmen attempted to shoot the female, but she managed to escape.

The police were summoned, and upon arrival, James, who was shot multiple times, was rushed to the hospital, where he was treated and admitted in serious condition.

James succumbed to his injuries at the hospital on Friday night.
