Westmoreland, Jamaica: Two Brothers Murdered – The Westmoreland police have commenced a probe into the shooting death of two brothers while at a family shop in the community on Saturday night.
The deceased have been identified as Damion Powell, otherwise called ‘Donkey Knee’, and Collin Daley, otherwise called ‘Gary’, both of Dan Head in Burnt Savannah, Westmoreland.
Reports indicate that around 8:45 PM, both men were among other family members at a shop outside their gate when they were pounced upon by armed men traveling on motorcycles.
The assailants opened fire, hitting the siblings before making their escape on the motorcycles.
The wounded brothers were rushed to the Savanna La Mar Hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
This shooting followed on the heels of another incident in a section of the community known as Clarke Land, where three men were shot and injured on Friday night.
