A man was shot and killed by unknown assailants along Canary Avenue in Kingston 11, on Friday, July 14.
He has been identified as 22-year-old Andre Lawson, of Espute Avenue, also in Kingston 13.
Reports from the Hunts Bay police are that about 1:45am, residents heard explosions and alerted them.
On the arrival of the police, Lawson was discovered lying along the roadway with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.
He was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
