Mother Held as Police Probe Suspicious Death of Three-Month-Old Son

Police in East Kingston have taken a woman into custody as investigations continue into the death of her three-month-old son in Rockfort, Kingston.

The infant, identified by police as Judah Shaw, was reportedly found unresponsive on Sunday night inside a two-bedroom house along Marl Road. Authorities said the child was wrapped in a blanket when he was discovered.

Investigators reported that the infant had abrasions to the head, prompting further scrutiny into the circumstances surrounding the child’s death.

The child’s mother, who was initially named a person of interest following the discovery, was later taken into custody by East Kingston police.

Investigations remain ongoing as police work to determine the events leading to the infant’s death.
