Montego Bay, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – Man Executed Near Airport Round-a-bout: A man was shot and killed and three other persons reportedly shot and injured including a small boy near the Donald  Sangster Airport in Montego Bay, St James on Tuesday evening, January 16.

The police say they are unable to release the name of the male victim at this time or a motive for the shooting.

Reports reaching our news team are that about 3:30 pm on Tuesday, the victim, two other men and a small boy were traveling in a rented silver Tida motor car along Sunset Boulevard in the vicinity of the Sangsters International Airport.

Man Executed Near Airport

The driver of the vehicle stopped at a popular car rental in the same vicinity to retrieve a tire, while driving from the parking lot, two men armed with handguns reportedly opened fire on the circle hitting all the occupants in the car.

The driver received gunshot wounds to his head and body, he died on the spot. The other occupants were also shot and were assisted to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where they were treated and admitted.

The shooting resulted in a massive pile-up for miles and persons traveling by that route, to and from the airport had to be rerouted.

Residents at the scene expressed shock at the fact that the gunmen carried out this brazen attack in the proximity of the airport and the Summit Police Station.
