Montego Bay, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – 15-year-old Murder Suspect: The police in Montego Bay say they are now in search of a 15-year-old student who is fingered as a prime suspect in the murder of a craft vendor at a section of Rose Hall in the parish on Sunday evening.

The teenage suspect who attends a prominent High School in St James is now being sought in connection with the murder of 33-year-old Kayodian Grant, Craft vendor of Catadupa District.

According to the police, Grant and another man had an argument earlier on Sunday,  January 14th about 9:30 am at a location in Rosehall. It is alleged that Grant used a bottle to hit the man in his head and he immediately left the scene after threatening that he was going to return to kill Grant.

Hours later at approximately 3:15 pm, Grant was standing in the vicinity of the Riu Hotel along the Rosehall main road when the said man with whom he had the argument earlier returned in the company of two male which includes the teenager who is now being sought.

The men brandished handguns and the teenage gunman fired several shots hitting Grant all over his body before escaping in a waiting motor car. The police were summoned and upon arrival, the victim was transported to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
