Montego Bay Jerk and Food Festival Unveils Star-Studded Entertainment Lineup for 2026 Staging

MONTEGO BAY, St. James — Organisers of the 17th staging of the Montego Bay Jerk and Food Festival have unveiled a powerhouse entertainment lineup as excitement builds for the highly anticipated event on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at the Catherine Hall Entertainment Centre.

The festival, regarded as one of Jamaica’s premier food and family events, will feature live performances from Skippa, Ayetian, Alaine, Prince Saj, Future Fambo, Top Banks, Feloni 19, and Adoracion Ministries, offering patrons a mix of dancehall, reggae, gospel and contemporary Jamaican music.

Thameka McLeod, Promotions Supervisor of Honey Bun, is all smiles as she hands over a gift to an attendee of the MoBay Jerk and Food Festival Roadshow held on July 24 at Sam Sharpe Square, Montego Bay.

The announcement follows last Friday’s Montego Bay Jerk Fest Roadshow at Sam Sharpe Square, where residents were treated to live entertainment, promotional activities and ticket giveaways, helping to build momentum ahead of the main event.

Festival PR and Media Director Joleine Longman-Boreland said organisers are confident this year’s lineup will deliver an unforgettable experience.

“We are incredibly excited about this year’s lineup. These artistes bring so much passion and talent to everything they do, and we know they are just as eager to take that stage as our patrons are to see them. August 1st is going to be something special,” she said.

One of the biggest talking points surrounding this year’s staging is the addition of Future Fambo, whose recent viral success on social media has made him one of Jamaica’s most talked-about entertainers. Organisers say his inclusion reflects the festival’s commitment to showcasing acts that resonate with today’s audiences.

Now in its 17th year, the Montego Bay Jerk & Food Festival continues to celebrate Jamaica’s rich culinary traditions while combining food, culture and entertainment into one of the island’s signature events.
