Glengoffe, St. Catherine – The body of a woman who had been reported missing since September 28 was discovered Tuesday morning in a shallow grave in Glengoffe, St. Catherine.
The tragic discovery came after a relative of the woman reportedly confessed to the police about their involvement in her disappearance.
According to reports, the sibling provided crucial information to law enforcement on Monday, leading a team from the St. Catherine North police to the location in Glengoffe. Early Tuesday morning, officers conducted an operation in the area, where they uncovered the woman’s body buried in a shallow grave.
The police are still on the scene, as investigators work to piece together the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death.
Authorities have not yet released the identity of the woman or the relative who reportedly confessed, pending further investigations.
