Jamaica News, April 6, 2018 – Body of Missing Hanover Fisherman Fished from Sea

Hanover, Jamaica (McKoy’s News) – The Lucea  police have reported that  a fisherman who went missing after he went out to sea on Thursday morning, from the shores in the Lucea Harbor in Hanover, was discovered dead on Friday morning, April 6.

The Marine police and the Lucea police say they are still processing the body and are unable to release his name at this time.

Reports are that, the fisherman left for sea in a boat early Thursday morning, but when he did not return as usual, later that afternoon, family members got suspicious and report him missing to the Lucea police.

The marine police were then called in and following a search at sea, they stumbled upon his boat late Thursday evening.

The search continued into Friday morning, which resulted in his body being discovered by Marine divers about 8:00 a.m.

The police say they are still unable to say if foul play is involved with his death.
