Million-Dollar Robbery at Pings Fabric Store in Westmoreland

Pings Fabric store, located along Great Georges Street in Savanna la Mar, Westmoreland, was robbed of cash amounting to over one million dollars over the weekend.

Reports indicate that around 6:00 pm on Saturday, the owners securely locked up the establishment for the day and left. Several hours later, at approximately 9:00 am on Sunday, the operators received a telephone call informing them that criminals had broken into the store and accessed a safe.

The perpetrators managed to remove a large amount of cash, totaling over one million dollars, before escaping.

The robbers reportedly forced open a metal door at the rear of the building. Subsequently, they cut through padlocks and a grill to gain access to the building.
