Ministry of Health Investigating Michael Jackson’s Doctor in Trinidad

Trinidad and Tobago (Mckoy’s News)Michael Jackson’s Doctor in Trinidad: the government of Trinidad and Tobago states that it is investigating Grenada-born cardiologist, Dr. Conrad Murray, who in 2011 was convicted and imprisoned for involuntary manslaughter of Michael Jackson, pop legend.

The government received reports, that the doctor is allegedly practicing medicine to patients at a local private medical facility without a medical licence for the Island.

In a news release, the Trinidad and Tobago Ministry of Health said it is joining with the Council of the Medical Board of Trinidad and Tobago regarding the matter to ensure the safety of the public.

Murray was convicted for the 2009 death of Michael Jackson, after an autopsy revealed fatal amounts of the hospital sleeping drug Propofol. Dr. Murray served 2 years of his 4 year conviction for the death of the pop star.

Murray’s medical license was reportedly revoked in Texas, United States in August 2013.

Over the weekend a Trinidad media house reported that they had confirmed that Dr. Murray was open for appointments to see patients at the  Rampersad Medical Centre and Private Hospital.

Allegedly the physician who was raised in Trinidad has not had an active medical license in Trinidad and Tobago since 2004.
