NEWPORT, Manchester — Police in Manchester are investigating the suspected drowning of 57-year-old Delroy Spencer, whose body was discovered floating in a water tank at the back of his home in Meadsfield, Newport, on Sunday afternoon.
According to a police report, Spencer had been reported missing by his relatives on Saturday, prompting a search effort. Tragically, around 1:10 p.m. on Sunday, his lifeless body was discovered in the tank by family members.
Authorities were summoned to the scene, and Spencer’s body was subsequently removed to the morgue for an autopsy. Investigators are working to determine the circumstances leading to his death, including whether foul play is involved or if it was an accidental drowning.
