Manchester, Jamaica — Detectives in Manchester have charged a 21-year-old man with three counts of murder following a series of deadly incidents in the parish, while police are also calling on another individual linked to see the investigation to surrender.
The accused, CJ Wilson of Old England district, was previously listed as a person of interest in connection with three fatal shootings in the Old England and Ellen Street areas. Reports indicate that he later turned himself in to investigators and was subsequently charged after questioning.
Law enforcement sources say the charges stem from separate incidents, including a double murder that occurred on February 1. Details surrounding the circumstances of the killings have not yet been fully outlined by investigators.
Police have also identified another man they believe can assist with the probe and are urging him to report to the nearest police station without delay. His name has not been released.
The Manchester Police Division says investigations into the murders are continuing.
