MANCHESTER, Jamaica — Police are investigating the mysterious death of 52-year-old auto body repairman Steven Clayton, whose body was found along Whitney Turn near Porus last weekend.
Clayton, also known as “Baps”, was a resident of Confidence Avenue in Mandeville and operated an auto body repair business. He was reported missing on Friday, September 11.
Police said passersby discovered his body on the Whitney Turn main road in the early hours of Saturday.
According to investigators, Clayton had blunt force injuries, while vehicle parts were found beside his body.
Relatives later identified the body.
Detectives are awaiting a post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.
