A 43-year-old man who was shot and injured by another individual in the Mike Town district of Manchester on Sunday, March 17, has tragically passed away from his gunshot wounds at Mandeville Hospital.
The accused individual has been charged with murder.
The deceased has been identified as Marlon Nembhard, also known as ‘Six’ or ‘Rukus’, from Mike Town. The accused, identified as 36-year-old Kevin Farquharson, resides at the same address.
According to reports, around 1:30 pm, Nembhard was returning home after finishing a game of Bingo at a nearby shop when he was allegedly attacked by Farquharson, who was armed with a handgun.
Farquharson reportedly opened fire, striking Nembhard multiple times before fleeing the scene.
Law enforcement was notified, and upon their arrival, Nembhard was promptly transported to the hospital where he was treated and admitted in critical condition.
Tragically, Nembhard succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday. Following his demise, Farquharson was apprehended and subsequently charged with the crime.
