MANCHESTER, Jamaica — A man was fatally shot by the police during an alleged confrontation in Chudleigh, Manchester, on Tuesday. The police have not yet released the man’s identity.
According to police sources, a targeted operation was carried out in the Over River district of Chudleigh early Tuesday morning. During the raid, the police reportedly encountered the armed man, leading to a confrontation in which the man was fatally shot. A firearm was recovered from the scene, authorities confirmed.
