The Mandeville police in Manchester are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a man in the Knock Patrick community in Mandeville on Thursday night.
The deceased has been identified as 37-year-old Dwayne Danville, a resident of Cedar Grove in the community.
Reports indicate that around 9:30 pm, Granville was walking in his community when he was ambushed by armed men and shot multiple times.
Police were promptly alerted, and upon arrival, Granville was found suffering from gunshot wounds. He was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
