A man was shot and killed at the Negril Beach Park in Negril, Westmoreland, on Thursday.
He has been identified as Bruce White, although his address remains unknown.
Reports indicate that around 12:15 am, White was sitting on a wall at the Negril Beach Park when he was approached by a lone gunman who brandished a handgun and opened fire, striking him multiple times.
The gunman then fled the scene on foot. Police were called to the scene, and upon arrival, White was transported to the Savanna la Mar Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
